Wild Times in Canada!! Thank you for the phenomenal product! On a 2005 goose hunt in Saskatchewan, we had the field the geese wanted,
and the weather couldn't have been better. Spitting snow and hungry geese made for the hunt of a lifetime. The first geese lifted off
the roost and headed to our field. We flagged and called and used a new product, which we were highly skeptical about, called the
Wing Waver. As the first flock approached, we used the Wing Waver to finish the birds and shot 3 geese. A second flock landed upwind
of our decoys some 80 yards. We had thoughts of getting out of our blinds to scare off the birds on the ground, but more flocks were
incoming. Another incoming flock started its final approach into the wind when they noticed the flock on the ground, some 80 yards
upwind of our position. We flapped the Wing Waver frantically, and the flying birds veered away from the live geese and flew to within
5 yards of the Wing Waver decoy and our guns! We shot 5 geese from that flock.
Hey Joe.
I found it easy to use and sets up in seconds! It has impressed everyone that I have
hunted with. The added motion in the decoys has truly aided in a successful hunt every time that I have used it. We discovered Wing Wavers the year the decoys came out on the market. We had not been having much luck
that late DEC morning. The geese were decoy shy and call shy from all the hunting parsers that season. On our afternoon break,
we went to the Gander Mountain store and picked up a Wing Waver. When we returned to the field, the geese were in the air. We jumped
out of the truck and left the Wing Waver behind. We got into the blind and started calling the geese. They came right over the top of
Here’s how I use my Wing Waver: When I see geese at 3 to 500 yards, I flap the wing non-stop until the geese
turn my way. Then I simulate a goose that is stretching his wings, (Flap the wings 2 to 5 times in a row, stop and do it again).
You must read the birds..if they fall off the imaginary line, flap it one or 2 times to get them back online. If they do not come
right in, let them get above you and flap it again. The birds will think one in their flock has landed, and they will swing around
and come right in to gun range. Sometimes I flap it as they are coming in, just to keep them coming in. You must read the birds to
know when and when not to use it. It all comes down to making it act like a goose you have seen in the field.
I wouldn't be without my Wing Wavers! We ended up with fourteen geese on the last day of the early
goose season this year. I have had great success every time we have hunted with our Wing Wavers.
The mallards love them too! Happy Hunting! I used my Wing Waver during the last couple of days of Colorado's spring snow goose season. I arrived
a little late so I just set out a couple of dozen decoys and one Wing Waver several yards out. The first group came in on the
